Bruce Hueners ’74

- Grad school at Indiana Univ. Worked at GE Semi then Hughes Aircraft IPD
- Pres/CEO of Bonders, a semiconductor company that ‘makes machines that make computers’
- Family: Married, 3 sons, 4 granddaughters
- Live in Carlsbad, CA (North San Diego County)
- Travel: all 50 States, Hobby: golf

Dan Jackson ’74
- USMC Aviation: flew A-4s with VMA-211 & 311, left as O-3.
- MBA from Pepperdine. Worked in electronic sales, marketing, and management. Lived in Ireland for 2 years. Traveled extensively in Asia & Europe. Owned a Farmers insurance agency. After I retired, my wife and I lived in Switzerland for 2 years. Returned to the USA in 2020.
- Family: Wife (Debra), 4 kids; 2 grandkids. Live in Escondido, CA
- Active in the A-4 Skyhawk community when I’m not cycling or playing golf
- Advice: Spend more time with your family. Work can wait!
James McCaffrey ’77
- USMC: Tanks, Infantry. Scuba school and Aerial Observer school. Had fun.
- Back to USC for an MBA and USD for a law degree.
- Worked for Lockheed and a major US law firm. Then to the Marshall Islands for my checkered career of the last 36 years. Qualified to practice law in 4 countries including England (Solicitor). Still working but bouncing back and forth between the Marshall Islands and Baja California.
- 5 kids, ages 34 to 7. No grandkids yet.
- Travel: Asia and SE Asia, business and fun; Europe, history and culture
- Advice: Cogito * Initio * Duro * Itero 1. Think first 2. Start. Just get started. No paralysis by analysis. 3. Be Strong, persevere 4. Do it again, with what you learned from the first iteration. 5. You are going look at yourself in the mirror each morning for the rest of your life. Don’t do anything that would make you ashamed to do so. 6. Live Not by Lies. 7. Work hard but live along the way; don’t save up travel or sex for when you’re old.
Jane Mason Pelligrino ’77
- USN: served as both a Line and Supply Corps officer. Retired as O5.
- Teacher, Administrator and BFM for NMF and TMF. Highlight – Comptroller Naval Academy and supporting the NMF.
- Family: Married (Pete), 2 children
- Lived on sail and powerboats. Love to travel.
- Advice: Stay true to yourself. Sometimes the trade-offs do not make sense. Do what you are good at. You are not what you do for a living. You will know when it is time to retire!
